Nintendo and Illumination have revealed that Brie Larson and Benny Safdie have joined the English voice cast for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, news that was shared in today’s Nintendo Direct presentation.
Brie Larson will bring cosmic protector Rosalina to the big screen, whereas Benny Safdie will play the role of Bowser Jr., a villain with galactic ambition.
They join Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, who are all making their return for the second movie.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will be released in theatres around the world from 3 April 2026.
