Angry Mob Games has announced that more than 50,000 players are now pummelling each other into submission in Brawlout on Nintendo Switch.

The party fighting game does away with shields and blocking to instead heavily focus on aggressive, fast-paced combat that has helped platform fighters to become so popular – you can read more about it in our Brawlout review.

“Brawlout passed 50K players on #NintendoSwitch in its first 2 weeks!” the developer enthused. “Nintendo, and especially all you brawlers out there, you’re all amazing and we love every single one of you!! THANK YOU and expect tons more Brawlout action coming your way in 2018!”

Then, when asked about plans to improve the game’s online connectivity, the developer added: “Our networking engineers worked even over the holidays and we’re submitting the patch to greatly improve matchmaking (and fix the network lag) in less than a week.”

Brawlout is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
