Bravely Default II Jobs List: Specialties, Abilities And Tips

Bravely Default 2 Jobs Screenshot

Jobs, Specialities and Abilities. Bravely Default II actively encourages experimentation with the tools that it places at your disposal, but it can be hard to know where to start. The Job system is extensive and, while perhaps more predictable than those that were seen in Bravely Second: End Layer, you may be wondering which classes you can unlock in the Nintendo Switch exclusive.

As for where to start, I found that it is useful to focus on levelling up and mastering the Freelancer Job first to secure Job Point (JP) boosts. The JP Up and JP Up and Up Abilities provide multipliers to the JP that a party character earns, and can be boosted even further when the passive abilties are both active at once.

These multipliers are not only applied after successfully toppling your enemies in battle, but also whenever you use JP Orb items. You should be using the Exploration mode as much as possible in your downtime, which will regularly reward you with such items that are particularly useful in levelling up your party character’s Jobs.

Below, we have listed every Job that you can unlock in Bravely Default II, which chapter they are unlocked in, along with their Fixed Command, Abilities and Specialties. Please be mindful that from this point we will be treading into spoiler territory, but nothing that we believe will ruin anything aside from who you will battle to unlock a particular Job and which chapter they are in.
