Braixen, Garchomp & Mewtwo Join Pokkén Tournament Roster


CoroCoro Comic’s illustrious pages have confirmed that Braixen, Garchomp and Mewtwo will appear as playable characters in Pokkén Tournament.

Serebii reports that Garchomp is a Power-category Pokémon that will use moves such as Dragon Rush and Sand Tomb, Braixen will use moves that allow it to attack from a distance like Fire Blast, and that Garchomp can undergo Mega Evolution.

These three new additions bring the roster to 15 playable characters, with others announced so far including Blaziken, Charizard, Gardevoir, Gengar, Lucario, Machamp, Pikachu, Pikachu Libre, Sceptile, Shadow Mewtwo, Suicune and Weavile. Another has been promised to be revealed on January 15th.

Pokkén Tournament will release exclusively for Wii U in Japan on March 18th, and across Europe and North America in spring 2016.
