Brain in a Jar have confirmed that they are working alongside Eutechnyx to develop the Wii version of NASCAR The Game: Inside Line.

The independent UK game developer, who specialise in racing games and simulations, will bring the NASCAR experience to Wii owners, players able to play as top NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers, teams and cars across all 23 officially licensed tracks.

A new in-depth career mode and online features, including leagues and leader boards, also feature, with aspiring drivers setting out to become the Sprint Cup Series Champion, attracting sponsors and upgrading car components along the way.

“Working with Eutechnyx on NASCAR The Game: Inside Line is a great project for us, as we’ll be utilising our own engine and development techniques to really make the most of the Wii hardware and give Wii owners a great NASCAR game,” explained Carl Dalton, Brain in a Jar’s founder.

“We’re committed to technical excellence and authenticity as much as Eutechnyx and are thoroughly enjoying the challenge of bringing this great racing series to life on the Wii.”

Dave Thompson, Eutechnyx’s Executive Producer added, “We’re very excited to have Brain in a Jar on-board for NASCAR The Game: Inside Line.

“We know the studio has great expertise in developing racing simulations on a range of formats and we’re certain the Wii version they produce is going to really do justice to both the license and the hardware.”

NASCAR The Game: Inside Line will release this autumn on Wii.
