Nintendo has confirmed that Bowser’s Fury supports two-player co-op, meaning that families and friends will have the chance to team up as Mario and Bowser Jr. in the new game mode.

You will either be able to share a Joy-Con Pair between two players, or use other combinations such as Joy-Con and the Nintendo Switch pro Controller.

The moustachioed icon and his unlikely companion will be challenged to stop Bowser’s rampage in this free-roaming 3D adventure. That will see you explore a series of islands to recover mysterious Cat Shines, before battling against the colossal Fury Bowser whenever he emerges from the water to wreak havoc.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 12th February 2021.
