Nintendo has turned to Bowser and Bowser Jr. to heartwarmingly demonstrate how parents can monitor their children’s gaming sessions with the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls.

The animated video looks to introduce the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app, highlighting how parents can set a daily play time limit and, if not kept to by their child, can Suspend Software remotely. These play time limits can be set for each day of the week, letting you allow longer sessions at the weekend or as a reward for good behaviour.

Parents can also receive a monthly summary, that will show which games your child has played the most to help talk to them about their favourites. Restrictions can be placed based on age ratings and online communication, and this can only be seen as a positive move.

The Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app will be available on the App Store and Google Play.

Nintendo Switch will release worldwide on Friday 3rd March, priced at £279.99 ($299.99).
