Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Update 1.04 Improves Stability And Performance On Nintendo Switch

Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Review Header

505 Games and ArtPlay have released a new software update for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Nintendo Switch, which sees the gothic adventure on version 1.04.

This has continued their efforts to improve the Unreal Engine 4-developed game’s stability and performance on the portable home console, after “shifting resources” in response to the negative reaction.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is now available at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.

Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Update Version 1.04 Patch Notes

This update includes:

  • Stability issues, such as crashes experienced while interacting with bookcases.
  • Fixed an issue with corruption during dialogue which could lead to crash.
  • Some Performance improvements related to animations.
  • General Bug Fixing.

Regions that were on 1.02 (SE Asia and Korea) will have all the 1.03 updates included.

While we will continue to work on overall performance improvements for Switch, this update brings the game’s platforms to a nearly identical state for content. This is an important step leading into the upcoming Zangetsu release, which we will talk more about in the near future.
