Japan’s Weekly Famitsu has revealed that Blaziken will join Pokkén Tournament‘s character roster in August.
The Fighting and Fire-type Pokémon was first seen in conceptual gameplay shown at 2013’s Pokémon Game Show, with an announcement expected that the Pokémon would eventually join the fight.
Playable characters for the arcade-only brawler so far include Charizard, Pikachu, Machamp, Gengar, Suicune, Gardevoir, Lucario and Weavile.
The Pokémon Company recently shared that the “possibilility definitely exists” that they will bring the game to western audiences.
