Gaijin Games have confirmed that they will shortly deliver downloadable content for Wii U Nintendo eShop release, BIT.TRIP Presents Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien.
Becoming available on Steam this week, the ‘Good Friends Character Pack’ will see seven new characters introduced within CommanderVideo’s universe. The developer confirms that the pack will arrive on Wii U later down the line, alongside revealing the first two characters – Quote and Raz.
“Hey everyone! Ever since the launch of Runner2, people have been asking us if we planned on releasing any sort of DLC for it. Being the mischievous lot we are, we typically alluded that such a thing might happen and left it at that,” the developer shared on their blog.
“Well, today, we’re prepared to announce the impending release of the Good Friends Character Pack! It will introduce seven new characters to the world of Runner2, and we’ll be revealing them a few at a time until the DLC hits Steam on… Thursday! And don’t worry, console folks – a release for 360, PS3 and Wii U will follow!”
They continue, “Rather than just list out the characters and provide you with a screenshot, we thought it would be fun to put together some neat animations, and have the one and only Charles Martinet narrate the tales behind how these characters ended up in the world of Runner2. Without further ado, here are the two characters we’re revealing today. $3 says your mind is blown! Check back tomorrow for two more character reveals!”
