Best Buy has confirmed that it will hold late-night store openings for Nintendo Switch 2 at its stores across the United States.
“In addition to fulfilling pre-orders, most stores will have limited inventory of systems, games and accessories for in-store purchase,” the retailer confirms. “Customers will also have the chance to receive a free Nintendo commemorative coin.”
The limited-edition commemorative coin will be available to those who purchase and pickup a Nintendo Switch 2 from 12.01am ET on Thursday 5 June 2025, while supplies last. You can check the list of participating stores on the Best Buy website.
Nintendo Switch 2 will be released at retailers around the world on 5 June 2025, priced at £395.99 in the United Kingdom, €469.99 across Europe, and $449.99 in the United States.
