Size Five Games has confirmed that Behold The Kickmen: Ultimate Football Edition will release on Nintendo Switch this month.
What had started as a silly Twitter joke, the developer positions this as the “least-exciting and mostly-incorrect football simulation” created from the perspective of someone that has no interest or understanding of the sport.
You will start low down in “the Big Boring British Football Spreadsheet system” and must win matches to work your way up “to become the best at the football that anyone’s ever seen and win the World Cup for your mantelpiece.”
The Story mode promises overblown melodrama and inane decisions, and the game can be re-skinned “at the flip of a switch” to become a Dystopian Future Bloodsport.
Behold The Kickmen: Ultimate Football Edition will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 18th June 2020.
