Koei Tecmo has announced that Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada will see release on Nintendo Switch, their historically inspired action title set in Japan’s Sengoku era.
This traces the heroic legend of the Sanada clan, a group of warriors that believed in survival at all costs. The historical period, known as the Age of Samurai, saw them fight with the utmost vigilance to ensure that the Sanada name would be remembered in history.
That tale begins with patriarch Masayuki Sanada, who, after witnessing his first battle, will see players see how the clan rose from lowly vassals to powerful lords that eventually led to Yukimura Sanada’s birth.
Yukimura went on to become a legendary warrior known as “The Crimson Demon of War,” and players can see his father’s reign along with his finest battles up until his final stand at the Siege of Osaka.
Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada will release for Nintendo Switch in Japan on November 9th, priced at 6,800 yen.
