Digerati and Brainwash Gang have announced that Grotto will release on Nintendo Switch later this year.
You play as a Soothsayer in this mystical, narrative-focused experience. Capable of taking with the stars and revealing their messages, in a time of turmoil the tribe of the valley has turned to your powers of divination for guidance.
Their fate will change based on the counsel that you give to this primitive tribe. Whether overthinking every constellation that you see or letting the stars freely enter your mind, it is only you that can read the future.
“Some of us have a genuine interest in divination and have tried different techniques over the years. We like the idea of people’s lives being influenced by something as abstract as the interpretation of the stars,” explains Brainwash Gang founder and developer Edu Verzinsky. “With Grotto, we hope players will become aware that the extraordinary powers of the protagonist comes from their own empathy when deciding on the life of the tribe.”
Grotto will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Q3 or Q4 2021.
