Bayonetta and Corrin have been revealed as the final playable fighters to be released as downloadable content in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

The news was shared by creator Masahiro Sakurai in a final video presentation, in which he provided a detailed breakdown of each character.

Each will release in February 2016, with Corrin being the main protagonist in Nintendo 3DS exclusive Fire Emblem Fates. Players can choose between male or female versions of the character – as with Wii Fit Trainer, Robin and Villager – who has the blood of a dragon coursing through their veins.

Whereas Bayonetta is a combo fighter and can chain together destructive attacks to pummel her opponents into submission. She can use Witch Time to slow her opponents if within range, and will be accompanied by an Umbra Clock Tower stage that recreates the opening moments from the first Bayonetta game.

Corrin will be available as a download in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U or Nintendo 3DS priced at £4.49 / €4.99 / $4.99, or both game versions together for £5.39 / €5.99 / $5.99.

Meanwhile, Bayonetta and the Umbra Clock Tower stage will be priced at £5.39 / €5.99 / $5.99 in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U or Nintendo 3DS, or both game versions together for £6.39 / €6.99 / $6.99.
