Nintendo of America has announced plans to release Bayonetta 2 as a standalone game at retail.
That will become available on February 19th, the Wii U exclusive having previously been bundled with the original Bayonetta game.
We awarded Bayonetta 2 a perfect score in our review, concluding: “Bigger, badder and exquisitely better, Bayonetta 2 knocks its predecessor off its enviable perch to become perhaps the greatest action game of all time.”
Bayonetta was recently revealed to be the final downloadable character to be added to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and had topped the votes cast in the Super Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot.
