Bayonetta 2 gameplay trailer delivers explosive action

Nintendo surprised the globe when they announced that they’d secured Bayonetta 2 as a Wii U exclusive.

Executive director Atsushi Inaba explained that it wouldn’t exist without Nintendo’s support, yet we’ve only been able to see a developer diary for the game so far.

During today’s E3 2013 Nintendo Direct, that changed. Below you’ll be able to catch the first gameplay trailer, complete with blazing guns, slick combat, and gargantuan demons.

Bayonetta 2 will release exclusively on Wii U during 2014.
