Alongside Game Informer’s May cover reveal, it has been announced that Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is currently in development for Nintendo 3DS.
Set to release alongside Batman: Arkham Origins, it serves as an entirely separate experience that takes place after the events of the Wii U instalment.
Said to be a “2.5D Metroid-style exploration action game,” it’s currently being developed by Armature Studio – a company founded by several members of the team that worked on the Metroid Prime Trilogy.
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate will release for Nintendo 3DS on October 25th.
