Streamline Games has revealed the Serradurra desert world and new bakers for Bake ‘n Switch on Nintendo Switch.
The Serradurra world adds another 50 co-op levels, three Bun creatures – Armadough, Fluff Fox and Bunboa – and two new Bakers in Sage and Salt.
These Bakers join Ginger, Rosemary, Thyme and Parsley, who each have their own unique abilities. Thyme can swing a fiery punch, Ginger uses dough-rising serums to double your Buns, Rosemary whacks dough with a rolling pin and Parsley can unleash a herd of kittens.
“We are very excited to finally share the expanse of the Bake ‘n Switch world,” enthuses Streamline Games COO Stefan Baier.
“We’ve hinted at it for some time, but now we’ve unleashed Serradurra, on top of Tropic Toaster, to add more Buns, more Bakers, and more interactive dynamic courts that bring new challenges and variety to the game. Launching with 100 levels, two worlds, online co-op and PVP proves that our game can have a long shelf life, and keep players coming back for more.”
The “violently cute party brawler” challenges up to four players to work as a team to punch, combine, and bake dough creatures – sacrificing them to the Guardians of Dough.
The developer promises “full contact baking, in-your-face action co-op,” with easy-to-pick-up controls but challenging levels.
Bake ‘n Switch will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Summer 2020.
