2015’s British Academy Game Awards nominations have today been announced by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), seeing 51 games recognised across 17 categories.
Alien: Isolation has received the most with six nominations, while Far Cry 4 and Monument Valley secure themselves five each. Nintendo’s only success is Wii U exclusive Mario Kart 8, which has been recognised for Audio Achievement, Best Game, Family and Multiplayer, while Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS was snubbed in Mobile & Handheld category..
Rufus Hound will host the British Academy Games Awards, which will take place on Thursday 12th March 2015 at Tobacco Dock in London. The cermony will be streamed live on Twitch.tv, for those not in attendance.
