Inti Creates has announced plans to release the Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack on Nintendo Switch, which contains Nintendo 3DS exclusives Azure Striker Gunvolt and Azure Striker Gunvolt 2.
The Nintendo Switch version sees gameplay upgraded from 30 frames-per-second to 60 frames-per-second, with the developer adding that the difference can be seen more clearly when playing as Gunvolt 2’s Copen. It will also include all downloadable content, adding extra stages, bosses, bonus modes, and new songs.
On Nintendo Switch, the developer has introduced higher resolution graphics, an intuitive one-screen layout, HD Rumble when Gunvolt unleashes his powerful electrical attacks, and a brand new theme song that is sung by virtual idol Lumen – performed by voice actress Megu Sakuragawa.
The Kudos system seen in Azure Striker Gunvolt has been changed to match that in the sequel, while the difficulty has been balanced in some stages as well as other minor gameplay improvements.
Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on August 31st.
