Cloud M1 has confirmed a release date for their 2.5D clown-themed platformer Ayo the Clown on Nintendo Switch.
Setting out “on a wacky fun-filled adventure,” you must help the not-so-average clown search for his best friend and beloved dog Bo who has gone missing.
That journey will take you across eight regions such as the Hills, Water World and Candy Land as you look for clues that could lead you to discover Bo’s whereabouts. While there are friendly people to help point you in the right direction, you will need to use water balloons, a balloon sword, toy hammer, dinosaur, helicopter, tank and anything else to defeat the fiendish foes and larger than life bosses who are out to cause you harm.
“Ayo won’t stop at anything in order to rescue his beloved pooch and as a result is a very well-travelled clown. The World of Ayo is a weird but wonderful place filled with more things to see and do than you can shake a balloon stick at!” explains Cloud M1 game director Xiu Liang. “Ayo the Clown is finally arriving on July 28th and we can’t wait for players to join the fun.”
Ayo the Clown will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 28th July 2021.
