Atlus have released an official teaser trailer for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, described as being an “RPG/SRPG hybrid,” exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.

Devil Survivor Overclocked is an expanded and enhanced version of the original release, designed specifically to utilise the capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS. Voice acting has been added for the entirety of the game’s lengthy narrative, featuring multiple endings based upon critical decisions by the player and now includes a special eighth chapter.

The game’s beautifully remastered hand drawn artwork and character portraits benefit from the new system’s higher resolution screens, offering players a crisper, higher fidelity experience.

“With all the additions and enhancements Overclocked will offer Nintendo 3DS owners when it releases this Summer, and considering how Devil Survivor stands as one of the best reviewed Atlus games of all time, one would think we wouldn’t have need to release a teaser trailer,” commented Aram Jabbari, Manager of Public Relations and Sales at Atlus. “But we’re releasing one anyways and it’s full of teasey goodness, showing off the game’s fully voiced dialogue, new story content, and improved visuals. We tease because we care.”

SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked is currently due to release for the Nintendo 3DS in Summer 2011.
