During a special livestream, ATLUS have announced that Etrian Odyssey V is currently in development.
Aside from that they neglected to provide much more information, with an accompanying teaser trailer indicating a new world that potentially faces disaster. It isn’t even clear which console it is headed to, although the Etrian Odyssey series began life on Nintendo DS and later progressed to its successor.
Shigeo Komori is overseeing the dungeon-crawler’s development as director, Yuji Himukai and Yuzo Koshiro return as character designer and composer respectively, while Shin Nagasawa will conjure the monster designs.
Etrian Odyssey V will release in Japan in 2015, for an undisclosed platform.
