Koei Tecmo and GUST Studios have released a new trailer for Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and the Secret Fairy, which is coming to Nintendo Switch.

Shared alongside Tokyo Game Show 2020, you can catch many story cutscenes as well as the game’s theme song “Somewhen, Somewhere…” which is performed by musical trio Clammbon.

Set three years after the original game, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and the Secret Fairy centres on Ryza leaving her hometown of Kurken Island to journey to the Royal Capital of Ashra-am Baird, setting up her own atelier shop while exploring ancient ruins to uncover the truth behind the mystery of the lost legends.

Ryza will once again be accompanied by her mischievous friends, with Klaudia the first to be confirmed to return. The only daughter of a merchant family, Klaudia has been working in the Royal Capital, but thinks back to the adventure she had with Ryza three years earlier and desires to lead a more exciting life.

You will also be joined by a mysterious creature known as Fi. The creature doesn’t speak but it “is very expressive and full of emotion, bonding quickly with Ryza while helping her seek answers to the true meaning of the lost legends.”

Those that purchase a physical or digital copy of the game in the first two weeks from launch will receive an Early Purchase Bonus code for the Summer Fashion Costume Set.

In addition, those that have save data from Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout can unlock the Classic Costume Set which includes outfits for Ryza and her friends from the previous game.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and the Secret Fairy will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Winter 2020.
