This week’s Weekly Famitsu magazine has revealed that Atelier Lydie and Soeur: Alchemists of the Mysterious Painting will see release on Nintendo Switch.
RPG Site reports that the game will take place in Merveille, the capital in the kingdom of Adalet. The city has a small atelier that Lydie and Soeur are looking after, but, when they discover a mysterious painting in the basement, they realise that it contains another world that they can explore.
That sees the novice alchemists enter the painting to collect materials, with gameplay mechanics such as compounding, combination battles, and battle mix to be familiar to those that have enjoyed previous games in the series.
Atelier Lydie and Soeur: Alchemists of the Mysterious Painting will release for Nintendo Switch across Japan in Winter 2017.
