Koei Tecmo has confirmed that Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland will receive a western release on Nintendo Switch, continuing the Arland trilogy with an adventure that is set several years after Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland.

This next game follows the young Elmerulia Fryxell, an energetic and positive young girl who works hard in her alchemy studies to live up to the legacy of her mother – the famous Rorona Fryxell.

With support from her close childhood friend Eva Armster, she continues to chase her dream to become a renowned alchemist.

There will be a chance for fans of the Arland series to meet old characters and re-explore the land in Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland, seeing how the passage of time has changed everything that they once knew.

With Arland-style gameplay blended with the Mysterious series, new possibilities have resulted in all-new synthesis, exploration, and battle systems that have been put in place.

Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland will release for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America in Spring 2019.
