Panic Button has released a new version 1.1.1 software update for Astro Duel Deluxe on Nintendo Switch, addressing issues uncovered in the frenetic local multiplayer party game.
That corrects issues with sound effects that could become corrupted or distorted, disables buttons that aren’t required when the Joy-Con is used horizontally, improves how the developer has used HD Rumble, and, lastly, updates the company logos on the splash screen.
We enjoyed our time with Astro Duel Deluxe, concluding in our review: “As a multiplayer title, Astro Duel Deluxe is an absolute blast. It works gracefully in tabletop mode and brings the golden age into the 21st century on the Switch.”
