20th Century Fox have revealed that the Assassin’s Creed movie will shortly follow Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, confirming that they will release the adaptation on 21st December 2016.
Starring Michael Fassbender, we heard back in November 2013 that the studio were initially targeting 7th August 2015.
New Regency are handling the movie with Ubisoft Motion Pictures, with the news coming alongside Fox discussing 2016 and 2017 release dates for Marvel’s Gambit, Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates, Fantastic Four 2, The Greatest Showman on Earth, The Mountain Between Us, and the new Planet of the Apes.
