Get practicing your overarm throws, as Ashes Cricket 2013 has today been confirmed for Wii U.

Set to release ahead of the 2013 Investec Ashes Series this summer, players will be required to adapt to altering pitches – whether a green seaming wicket or deteriorating fifth day pitch that is susceptible to spin and bounce.

You can look forward to playing through the complete 2013 Investec Ashes Series, with either official England and Australia teams.

Dynamic weather forecasts will alter the course of the match, the brand new game engine aiming to provide as authentic an experience as possible.

Now with a 360 degree control over shot placement, batsmen will need impeccable placement and timing to build an innings, with a new line and length bowling system allowing you to set plans for those you face.

“We are delighted to be able to announce some of the key features for Ashes Cricket 2013,” comments Ralph Pitt-Stanley, General Manager for UK & Export at 505 Games.

“This game has been created with real cricket fans and players in mind. The new engine allows players to mimic a cricketers most important attribute, his technique.”

Ashes Cricket 2013 will release on Wii U in summer.
