Asmodee Digital and Artefacts Studio have revealed that Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace is in development for Nintendo Switch.
Based on the award-winning board game franchise, this looks to deliver “a squad-based narrative adventure game offering a mix of exploration, investigation and tactical RPG combat phases set in the Lovecraftian universe.”
Set in 1926, a professor of astronomy is believed to have been murdered after she is found dead in her mansion.
You must choose from 12 protagonists from the Arkham Horror universe that each has their own unique skill set, before setting out to uncover the secrets behind the professor’s mysterious death.
That will see you face off against Lovecraftian horrors, descending deeper into the depths of madness as your sanity is impacted over the course of your investigation.
Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
