Studio Wildcard has announced that a “major patch” has been released for ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition, which delivers full backwards-compatibility and performance enhancements on Nintendo Switch 2.
Working with Grove Street Games as a development partner, this patch “enables smoother gameplay with improved frame rate and higher resolution, upgraded shadow quality and anti-aliasing quality, ensuring the definitive ARK experience on Nintendo’s new system.”
Having received a 60 percent discount digitally through the Nintendo eShop until 5 November 2025, you can experience everything that ARK: Survival Evolved has to offer. From the base game right through to the Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Part 1 and Genesis Part 2 expansion packs, the publisher promises “up to thousands of hours of gameplay.”
