Bitmap Bureau has revealed that Xeno Crisis will release on Nintendo Switch this month, a “faithful port” of the original 16-bit game with new additions.
Whether playing solo or teaming up in local co-op with a friend, in this arena shooter you play as battle-hardened marines who set out on a deadly mission to confront an alien menace.
That will see you run and gun your way through Outpost 88, exploring the devastated research outpost in your search for survivors and to face the origin of its demise.
There are seven distinct areas that are each randomly generated every time that you play. Whereas the dog tags that you collect from vanquished enemies can be used to upgrade your equipment between areas, with special weapons presenting you with a momentary advantage.
Xeno Crisis will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on October 28th priced at £15.99 ($19.99).
