The Pokémon 20th anniversary celebrations continue, with an Arceus special distribution event now available at retailers worldwide.
This is the latest Mythical Pokémon distribution event to run this year, and will allow players to receive Arceus, which had first appeared in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl.
Arceus will be Level 100 with the Multitype ability, which lets it become any Pokémon type while holding a corresponding Plate. These can be discovered at locations across Hoenn in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. The Mythical Pokémon’s moves will be Judgment, Recover, Hyper Beam, and Perish Song.
The serial code distribution event will run between 1st – 24th August 2016, at GAME (United Kingdom), GameStop (United States), or EB Games (Australia, New Zealand and Canada). These codes may be used in Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, or Pokémon Y, but must be redeemed by 30th November 2016.
How To Unlock Arceus With A Serial Code
1. Select Receive Gift, then Yes to confirm
2. Select Get With Code
3. Select Yes to confirm
4. Enter your serial code, then watch as you receive your Pokémon
5. Speak to the delivery girl in any Pokémon Center to receive the Pokémon
6. Be sure to save your game!
