Apex Legends Out Now On Nintendo Switch 2

Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have announced that their free-to-play hero shooter Apex Legends is now available on Nintendo Switch 2.

Those who log in on either Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch before Tuesday 16 September 2025 can receive an exclusive Legendary Pathfinder skin, “P.A.T.H.”

Pitched as “a character-driven, squad-based Battle Royale shooter where teamwork is the difference between victory and defeat,” in Apex Legends you must first choose your character from a lineup of outlaws, soldiers, misfits and misanthropes before being challenged to survive long enough to be called a Legend.

You will need to master your Legend’s abilities and work as a team to succeed in competitive 60-player matches, relying on Respawn Beacons to resurrect your teammates and Smart Comms to communicate with one another without the need for voice chat.

The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
