APEX 2015 relocates to Garden State Convention Center

APEX 2015 has had to relocate to a new venue, after fire alarms were tripped at the Clarion Hotel Empire Meadowlands.

While there was no imminent danger, police and fire marshals that rushed to the scene deemed that the venue was unsafe and lacked the necessary permits to host the competitive event. That’s set the event behind, having been due to run between Friday 30th January – Sunday 1st February 2015, although an emergency meeting resulted in a new venue being secured at the Garden State Convention Center.

The tournament, which is the largest that celebrates competitive scene behind the Super Smash Bros. series, will now begin tomorrow, with the center’s address being 50 Atrium Drive, Somerset, New Jersey 08873. Best of luck to all competitors!
