Devolver Digital and developers Gabe Cuzzillo, Matt Boch, and Bennett Foddy have announced that Ape Out has received a short delay on Nintendo Switch.

Their “wildly intense and colorfully stylised smash ’em up about primal escape, rhythmic violence, and frenetic jazz,” had been set to release on the Nintendo eShop this week but that has since been pushed back until later this month.

You must build up nearly unstoppable momentum and use your captors as both weapons and shields in an effort to crush everyone as you rush to your freedom.

Ape Out will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on February 28th, priced at £10.99 (€14.99/$14.99).
