Antipole DX Delayed Into 2017

Saturnine Games has announced that their gravity-defying platformer Antipole DX has been delayed into 2017.

The game, which provides players with the power to reverse gravity in the immediate area around them to progress and solve puzzles, is nearing completion, but certain parts were finished later than expected and have arrived a time where the team has other obligations to prioritise.

“I know it’s been a long time since I posted an update on Antipole DX. A large part of that is because I just didn’t know what to say,” the developer shared on Miiverse.

“Right now, Antipole DX is about 95% complete. Some parts of the game were finished later than expected, which meant work on the rest of the game had to be delayed. Unfortunately, this conflicted with other obligations I have, and I had to put off working on Antipole DX. I hoped to be able to continue working on Antipole DX alongside my other obligations, but that hasn’t worked out.

“It’s pretty clear now that Antipole DX won’t release in 2016. I’m not comfortable trying to guess at a new release date. The game is very close to done and doesn’t need a lot more work, but I’m just not sure when the timing will work out.

“When I have more details to share I’ll post another update. Thanks for following, and sorry for the delay.”

Antipole DX will release on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in 2017.
