As promised, Nintendo shared a trailer for their Wii U instalment of Mario Kart.
Set to release in spring 2014, Mario Kart 8 carries over many features introduced within its predecessors.
Gliders and motorbikes return, whilst a new anti-gravity ability will see players racing up walls and clinging to dear life along inverted tracks.
Mario Kart 8 will launch exclusively for Wii U in spring 2014.
