Alongside today’s news that the 23rd film within the ever popular James Bond franchise is set to enter production within late 2011 for a release November 9th 2012, comes a more gaming related note.

It has been revealed, as one would expect, that development of a further James Bond videogame that had already been in the works was held up due to the uncertainty surrounding the future of both MGM Studios and the rights to the franchise. Now that such issues have been settled, work on the project is reportedly confirmed to have now been continued.

Whilst further details regarding the latest Bond videogame and its context, designated platforms or developer are unknown, Nintendo fans will surely be lusting after another outing following the popular reception that Eurocom’s Goldeneye 007 received late last year.
