Wright Flyer Studios has confirmed a release date for its time-travelling, turn-based JRPG Another Eden Begins, which is coming to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
Led by genre veteran Masato Kato (Chrono Trigger, Xenogears), Studio Prisma will “spearhead the game’s creation,” which has a main theme from legendary composer Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenogears, Chrono Cross).
Originally released for iOS and Android devices, and later ported to PC, this enhanced version introduces a new cast of characters, complete with full English voiceovers for the entirety of the game’s main story.
Past, present, and future collide in Another Eden Begins’ timespace-bending multiverse, the complex quests that you complete, and deepening bonds with your battle companions. With a branching storyline to explore, New Game+ content will invite a new character into the main story to open up multiple narrative threads that will lead to 10 different endings.
“Another Eden continues to be an extraordinary journey, and Another Eden Begins offers a new way to experience that world with enhanced visuals and English voiceovers,” explains Studio Prisma head Shinnosuke Hirasawa. “Working with Masato Kato is always pleasant, as we prepare the world for yet another emotional tale across time and space!”
Another Eden Begins will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch worldwide on 17 September 2026.
