Chibig has announced that their “cute-as-heck” single-player survival adventure game Ankora: Lost Days will release on Nintendo Switch next year.

After her spaceship crashes on Ankora, Interstellar Patrol junior ranger Mûn must explore the unknown planet – crafting her own tools to collect the resources that she needs to survive and overcome the obstacles and monsters that she encounters.

Taking place before the events in Deiland: Pocket Planet and Summer in Mara, the game will deliver “a tale about growing up, relying on others to overcome challenges and connect with nature.”

With the experience mixing terraforming, crafting and exploring mechanics in a wild planet with a colourful style, there are six different biomes – forest, desert, meadow, snow mountains and more – used to create more than 100 map levels for you to explore.

You will be able to use your hammer to build structures, your shovel to dig and modify the terrain, a bow to survive Ankora’s dangers and other tools to collect resources from the planet. Levelling up with each action and learning new recipes will reward you with the skills needed to improve your chances of survival.

Ankora: Lost Days will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2022.
