UNTIES, Cherrymochi, and mebius. have revealed that Tokyo Dark: Remembrance will release on Nintendo Switch this week.

This anime-style murder mystery merges visual novel and adventure features and has expanded on the original Tokyo Dark with additional content and new endings.

It stars detective Itō Ayami, who, after her partner disappears in horrific circumstances, hasn’t had a full night’s sleep.

With images of a young girl now haunting her and mysterious red marks painted all over town, Ayami must fight the dark power that threatens her sanity as she searches for her missing colleague.

Every action that you take will impact the storyline, thanks to the developer’s S.P.I.N. (Sanity, Professionalism, Investigation, Neurosis) system.

That could see you gain gain Professionalism and help from Ayami’s coworkers when you keep calm under pressure, or drink on the job to maintain her sanity when she sees the ghastly images – your choices leading to more than 10 possible endings.

Graphnica has also created animated sequences for Tokyo Dark: Remembrance, who were behind scenes seen in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Hellsing Ultimate, and more.

“Walking the streets of Tokyo will never feel the same after playing Tokyo Dark: Remembrance,” explains UNTIES G&R representative John Davis.

“With new content and additional endings, the tale has more horrific variety than ever, appealing to fans of Japanese horror stories and western murder-mysteries alike.”

Tokyo Dark: Remembrance will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 7th priced at £16.19 ($19.99).
