Animal Crossing New Horizons Gyroids: Do They Exist In The Game?

If you have been searching for Gyroids in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, then, sadly, we have bad news.

In past games, these peculiar furniture items could be found buried in the ground in a similar way to the Fossils that you recover for Blathers to assess in the Museum.

However, at this point in time, Gyroids are yet to be discovered in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The only Gyroid that has been found is Lloid, who, as with Animal Crossing: New Leaf, helps you with any public works projects that you plan with Tom Nook at the construction consultation counter in Resident Services.

That doesn’t necessarily mean that they will never be in the game, as Nintendo clearly has a content plan to keep players engaged with the game in the months ahead.

Lloid, a Gyroid NPC, does appear at various public works, similar to Animal Crossing: New Leaf. As Nintendo is planning more free content updates for the game, they could potentially return in the future.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
