Animal Crossing: New Horizons Bank Of Nook Reduces Interest Rate

Boot up Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and you will soon learn that the Bank of Nook has reduced the interest rate that they have offered on savings accounts.

The Bells that you earn on your deserted island paradise can be deposited into your savings account using the ABD (Automatic Bell Dispenser), accessed using the Nook Stop multimedia terminal in Resident Services.

Your balance will generate interest at the start of each month, but, as it has been revealed, the interest rate has been rebalanced.

“We are writing to inform you that we have reduced the interest rate offered to all savings accounts,” the Bank of Nook’s letter reads. “As an apology for any inconvenience, please enjoy the attached gift. We appreciate your business!”

That gift is a Bell-bag rug, which, unsurprisingly, is a Bell bag-shaped rug that you can use to decorate your home.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
