Nintendo has announced what amiibo will unlock in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions.
Those that scan the Goomba, Koopa Troopa, or Boo amiibo in the Nintendo 3DS exclusive will receive additional stamp sheets that will provide them with items in both of the game’s modes. And, Nintendo has promised to share more about the amiibo compatibility in the coming weeks.
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga will once again see Mario and Luigi journey to the Beanbean Kingdom with Bowser to restore Princess Peach’s voice, gameplay mechanics challenging players to control both characters at the same time to use their Bros. Moves to solve puzzles and topple enemies in action-packed battles.
And, in the new Minion Quest mode, you will play as Captain Goomba, leading your own Minion army – fighting across the Beanbean Kingdom as you try to locate your missing leader.
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS worldwide on October 6th.
