Link’s amiibo figure may unlock a weapon in Hyrule Warriors, but it’s an entirely different story in Mario Kart 8.
If you scan each of the Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Captain Falcon, Fox, Samus or Kirby figures with the Wii U GamePad, you will be able to unlock a Mii racing suit that is themed upon each character. These can then be worn by your Mii’s whenever you choose to race as them, and you can see them all in action in the trailer below!
