Amazon UK have price-matched a move made by ASDA yesterday.
ASDA themselves are currently offering consumers to purchase the 8GB Wii U (White) Basic Pack for £149, with the 32GB Wii U (Black) Premium Pack at £199.
In an effort to compete, Amazon UK have matched the Wii U Basic Pack to £149, although the Premium Pack pricing remains unchanged at £284.58.
Whilst a positive step in generating more interest in the currently ailing console, it’s worrisome that retailers have to resort to a price war at the same time.
