In a strange turn of events, Amazon has cancelled all pre-orders for the upcoming fast-paced mech action game, Daemon X Machina.

Those in the United States have reported receiving cancellation emails that see the online retailer blaming the situation on a lack of availability, despite the Nintendo Switch exclusive not releasing until next year.

In the game, which comes from Armored Core series creator Kenichiro Tsukuda and his team are working on, you will battle it out in missions in an Arsenal – a fully customisable powered suit that can be equipped with weapons that you can swap on the fly.

Daemon X Machina will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2019.
