The 12 best Splatoon 2 teams from across Europe battled it out in Paris last weekend to determine who would ink their way to victory in the Splatoon 2 European Championship 2018-2019 finals.

It was home team Alliance Rogue that managed to defeat the reigning European champions BackSquids, with the French side exacting revenge after they were defeated by the German team in last year’s tournament semi-final.

The French foursome – Grey, Erza, Sorin, and Kiver – emerged victorious in the best-of-seven final, winning 4-1 to head home with the trophy, European champions jerseys, and exclusive gold-colored Splatoon 2-themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers.

It was Team Mako that had represented the UK and Ireland at the Splatoon 2 European Championship, but, after defeating Swiss side Huitante, they went on to lose in their match against Ämpäri Gang.
